Terms & Conditions
Important information about your reservation and the use of the accommodation.
These Terms and Conditions govern reservations and stays at Vive Pucón Lodge,
whether the booking is made directly through our website or via external platforms
(for example, Airbnb or Booking.com). By confirming a reservation, the guest states
that they have read and accepted the conditions described below.
1. Reservations & Payments
- Reservation deposit: at the time of booking, 30% of the total value of the stay is charged.
- Remaining balance: the remaining 70% must be paid up to 1 day before arrival, as indicated during the booking process.
- Currency: prices are shown and charged in Chilean Pesos (CLP), unless the booking platform specifies a different currency.
- Taxes: rates may include or exclude VAT depending on the type of guest and current Chilean regulations. Any specific tax information is detailed in the payment process of each platform.
2. Cancellation Policy & Refunds
Our standard policy, aligned with the Lodgify configuration, is as follows:
- Up to 14 days before arrival: 100% of payments made are refundable.
- Less than 14 days before arrival: the reservation is non-refundable (0%).
- Date change requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability and the applicable rate for the new dates.
If you book through third parties (Airbnb, Booking.com or others), the cancellation policy
indicated on that platform will prevail for that specific reservation.
3. Security Deposit & Damages
- A refundable security deposit of CLP 150,000 is required, managed according to the conditions of the booking platform or our booking engine.
- The deposit is used to cover material damage, lost keys, extraordinary cleaning or serious breaches of the house rules.
- If the cost of repair or cleaning exceeds the deposit amount, the guest must cover the full cost, after we provide evidence and supporting documents.
4. Check-In, Check-Out & Occupancy
- Check-in: from the time indicated in the booking and in the accommodation listing.
- Check-out: up to the time stated in the reservation. Unauthorised late departures may incur additional charges.
- Maximum capacity: the number of guests indicated in the reservation may not exceed the maximum capacity allowed for the property.
- Occasional visitors must be reported and may not stay overnight without prior authorisation.
5. Use of the Accommodation & House Rules
- The accommodation is intended exclusively for residential and tourist purposes; parties, large events and illegal activities are not permitted.
- The condominium or community rules must be respected, especially regarding noise, use of common areas and parking.
- Quiet hours and respect for neighbours must be observed according to the condominium rules (generally during night-time hours).
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Any evidence of smoke or burns may result in additional cleaning charges.
6. Pets
Vive Pucón Lodge is a pet friendly accommodation. However, the stay of pets
is subject to the conditions described in our
Pet Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.
7. Liability & Force Majeure
- The guest is responsible for the care of the property and for reporting any damage or malfunction during the stay.
- Vive Pucón Lodge is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings inside or outside the accommodation.
- We are not responsible for power outages, water cuts, internet failures or other service disruptions beyond our direct control.
- In cases of force majeure (extreme weather events, natural disasters, authority-imposed restrictions, etc.), reasonable alternatives for rescheduling or cancellation will be offered in accordance with the applicable regulations and policies.
8. Personal Data & Communication
- Personal data provided by guests is used solely to manage the reservation, billing, and communications related to their stay.
- We may send relevant information before, during and after the stay (for example, arrival instructions, satisfaction surveys, special offers).
9. Priority of Conditions According to Booking Channel
If you book through an external platform (Airbnb, Booking.com or others), the specific terms of
that channel—especially those related to charges, taxes, cancellations and dispute resolution—
will prevail over what is stated here for that particular reservation.
10. Acceptance of the Terms
By making a reservation and/or paying in full or in part, the guest declares that they have read,
understood and accepted these Booking Terms & Conditions, as well as the
House Rules and the Pet Policy.
