🐾 Pet Policy

1. Which pets can we welcome?

At Vive Pucón Lodge we are Pet Friendly and warmly welcome small and medium-sized dogs up to 12 kg, similar in size to a caniche or poodle.

For everyone’s comfort, the maximum allowed is 2 pets per apartment.

2. Leash and circulation in the property

For the safety of all residents and other pets in the condominium, your dog must always be on a leash in all common areas:

• Parking areas and access ways.
• Gardens and internal paths of the condominium.
• Areas around the pool, barbecue/BBQ area and shared spaces.

Inside the apartment, of course, your pet can be free and comfortable, as long as the furniture is respected and quiet hours are observed (avoid continuous barking, etc.).

3. Use of the dog run

The condominium has a shared dog run near the pool area, designed so that pets can enjoy outdoor time.

• The dog run must be used responsibly. If your pet is not friendly or gets stressed around other dogs, we kindly ask that you do not use the dog run.
• When your pet is in the dog run, it must always be supervised by an adult, especially considering the nearby pool area.
• Cleaning the dog run is the responsibility of each owner: please pick up any waste immediately and leave the space as you would like to find it.

4. Cleaning and care of spaces

In the apartment, gardens, paths and dog run, the owner is responsible for all cleaning related to their pet:

• Pick up waste and dispose of it in the appropriate containers.
• Avoid pets on beds or sofas unless they are covered with your own blankets.
• Protect doors, walls and furniture from scratches or chewing.

5. Damages and use of the security deposit

Any damage caused by a pet (furniture, textiles, doors, garden, etc.) may be deducted from the CLP 150,000 security deposit or, if necessary, charged additionally according to the real cost of repair or replacement.

If the reservation was made through external platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com, damage claims will be handled through the official mechanisms of the platform used (claims, money requests, etc.).

6. Coexistence and acceptance of the policy

By booking at Vive Pucón Lodge and indicating that you are traveling with pets, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Pet Policy, and you agree to:

• Take care of your pet at all times.
• Respect quiet hours and other guests.
• Keep all spaces used by your pet clean.
• Take responsibility for any damage or inconvenience caused.
